User Experience (UX) Designer

Our client, a world-class supplier of technology consulting are looking for a UX Designer to join their team and help design and develop innovative, intuitive and ingeniously simple user interfaces for a wide variety of clients.

• Location: Cambridge (CB4)

Within this role you will be responsible for;  driving all aspects of UX, from interpreting user/stakeholder needs, setting design direction, gaining buy-in from all team members, communicating design solutions to clients and developing UI feature & requirements specifications and graphic and interaction design for a wide range of applications.

As part of their rapidly growing team, you will also be involved in promoting User Experience within projects, using your expertise to liaise with clients and stakeholders, understanding technical and marketing requirements, and preparing proposals that capture these requirements.

To be successful in this position you will have:

• Significant experience designing, developing and evaluating end-user interface products Experience working across different platforms (web, mobile, desktop and bespoke)
• A relevant degree
• Strong technical analytical skills and an ability to objectively challenge problems and devise simple design solutions
• Clear and concise communication skills
• The ability to facilitate collaborative design sessions and workshops with clients and end-users
• The ability to work effectively within a multi-disciplinary team
• Flexibility, organisational skills, and the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines on multiple projects
• Creativity and empathy for users and how they interact with technology Passion for elegant and intuitive User Experiences
