Our client is one of the UK leading Fraud Prevention specialists, and due to recent business growth are offering you the opportunity to join them as an Intelligence Analyst within their core Financial and Strategic Intelligence team based in Central London.

  • Location: Central London (WC1H) – Close to Euston, St Pancras and Kings Cross train lines.
  • Hours: 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday.
  • Salary: Up to £35,000 + an excellent benefits package including pension scheme, sick pay, private health insurance, and performance related bonus and rising holiday allowance.

The role

This role is a brand new, unique opportunity of variety allowing you to apply your experience and skill to support fraud prevention, mainly for the financial markets and within law enforcement investigations. You will be responsible for data investigation, statistics management, creating various reports, and presenting your conclusions and suggestions to offer continuous improvement to both the service and client satisfaction.

To be successful in this position you will have:

  • A strong analytical flair – the ability to analyse, interpret, and report back on large volumes of data from multiple sources to reach reasoned conclusions.
  • An investigative approach to take your analysis to the next level, identify new trends and contribute to new technological developments and service offerings.
  • Either a relevant university degree and/or previous experience within a similar role.
  • IT literate with intermediate Microsoft Excel skill, including construction of vlookups and pivot tables – Microsoft Access, SQL and VBA exposure is desirable but not essential.
  • Confident relationship building skill, with excellent written communication.
  • A superb numerical ability – psychometric testing will be a part of the interview process.
